Magazine Advert Plan

This is the magazine advert plan. It links with or album cover with the techno writing styled font and with the pixelated/animated faces. Only this time it has the individual features and accessories that we see and associate the artists with. It is their own unique look about them. The magazine advert of the album follows the conventions with having the title of the album, name of the artist, the artist image and names of some songs that feature on the album.

Shooting Schedule 2

This is our second shooting schedule we had to make a second one because with the first we had some problems and we wasn't able to keep to the schedule that we originally created. So as a group we made a new one which we have managed to keep.

With this new shooting schedule it allowed us to plan more future dates for our filming plus it has allowed to plan for new scenes in which the previous shooting schedule we havent discussed any dates and times for.

With this shooting schedule we need to make sure that we try and stick to it because it will end up like the last one which when we didn't film on most of the days which we planned to. To make sure we stick to it we need to be more organised as a group and also make sure to remind each other when we are filming and also what we need to take and what were actually filming.

Music Video Draft

This is the music video draft with only green screen footage. From this we can evaluate the what we have done so far.

Many things did not go out as planned for example, we do not have our original performer so we have decided to go ahead with two new artists for the music video.

A positive aspect of this draft is that it is still based around our concept idea and we are still filming shots that were planned on the storyboard.

However, this green screen footage needs to be re shot because there are some issues with the framing and the focusing which involves the use of the camera. To improve on this the camera can be turned on to automatic focusing so it is always focused throughout the song and the artist's movements are always in focused. With the framing there needs to be less headroom at the top for some of the shots which will be done next time we reshoot

Also the artists performance needs to be emphasised more and have to be more enthusiastic so they look like actual pop artists. To emphasise that they are pop artists the performers could have accessories to wear such as glasses, hats or brighter clothing to give them that unique pop artist look.

Other areas of improvement include shadows and creases that come up on the coloured backgrounds. This can be improved when editing the music video and will be done when everything has been reshot.

Setting up equipment for Green Screen

In this task we showed that we could set up the equipment for the green screen. So for this we had to set up the greens screen and the lights. Below is the proof of us setting up the equipment. In this task we learned how to correctly set up the green screen and the lights.

For our pop music video, our theme is of a video game so by using the green screen we will be able to do this effectively. We will be adding movements which the artists will be doing throughout the music video such as hand swipe from left to right, a finger press to show a push of a button and a drag motion.

Props

We will be using this as a prop when to represent technology.

This will be filled up with water and used as a prop to throw water over the artist to show a bit of the narrative.

The artist will sit on this chair when we film part of the music video in the school.

All of these phones will be used to represent technology as well as using the Apple Mac.

Shooting Schedule

In this task we as a group had to create our shooting schedules for which we would use in the future for planning when we needed to shoot. From this task we can see that as a group we created our shooting schedules and managed to upload them onto our group blog. From this task we now have a much clearer understanding of when we are filming also who's going to each filming location and what equipment we will be taking.

13th of November is the final day to adjust and refine shots or retake any.

Techno Girl Anamatic

This is our animatic. The song that we have chosen to use will be the song by Jedward Techno girl. With the animatic it has allowed us to have a clear image of our music video, by using the animatic it has allowed us to see what looks good in the animatic and also what looks bad this is very helpful for us because it allows us to know what things we should cut if needed to and it also allows to know what features are good about the video which we can use for when it comes to making the actual music video.

Story boards - Zak, Michael and Robbie

Brief - In this task we had to cut up each individual story board and place them on the sheets below. From this task we learned the order of our shots and this has allowed us to make our anamatic.
